Molded by Me

My parents lost their faithful little companion of 16 years yesterday. He was the sweetest little dog. 16 years is a long time and with his heart condition we all knew the time for him the leave the world was coming, although one can never be prepared. My parents are so sad, I am sad for them.

I couldn’t stop thinking about little Corky and my parents last night. I pulled out the polymer and decided to make a sweet little pup inspired of course by the Corkster (the name I always called him by).

He was always a happy little chap even when he was so frail at the end. I hope I have captured him well enough that when the time is right to give him to my parents they smile.

Corky was a West Highland White Terrier, although my parents insisted that he be groomed to resemble a Scottish Terrier. They are a little quirky!
